Started with the Sims in 2007 when my husband was in the hospital (he has now recovered). We have 4 cats (plus a visitor), 2 guinea pigs, and about 12 fish, and also get to watch deer, groundhogs, skunks, raccoons, possums, and even a fox in our backyard. Played Sims 2 for a few years, got The Sims Medieval last year, and then switched to Sims 3. I enjoy writing stories, but am not very good at building.
