No doubt following a night of severe "nectar consumption" my mother fell pregnant with yours truly. Naturally you'd think I'd have been the product of Risky Woohoo but obviously I made quite an impression, as further nights of sporadic intimacy between the parents resulted in a brother and a sister joining me. Our lives were nondescript to begin with... moving house here, going to school there, before the legend that is Will Wright declared to his followers "Behold! For I hath invented THE SIMS" and a revolution was born! Copies flew off the shelves, critics were fainting in glee, and EA's accountants were... well, they just sat there. (It's a well known fact accountants have no emotion). Tragically I knew nothing of this craze that was sweeping the lands until one lazy afternoon deep in the countryside, when due to a mixture of boredom, despair and the toxic fumes from my Mother's cooking, I cried out to the Heavens "My life is not complete! Pray tell, what am I missing?!" Silence befell the land until suddenly a glorious ray of light beamed down from above (okay, so it was the light from the computer screen) and guided me to the world of Sims. Like a moth to a lightbulb or a spider to my apartment, I followed. Since then I've been pretty much hooked. I still enjoy playing the game, but increasingly I like to build. Hopefully my uploads are worthy.
