She was always drawn to fairytales & stories with mythical creatures, populated with people with whimsical names like Finn Gobspittle and Wagner Swaggerthorn. Humour is an important ingredient in all Spartan's builds, and she sometimes deliberately uses kitsch references to (hopefully) make people laugh.
As a hobby, Spartan loves to collect unusual words like schadenfreude, gallimaufry, horripilation and, lately, triskaidekaphobia - a great one for 2013!
With her builds, she prefers to use older styles of architecture, and makes it up as she goes along rather than following existing floor plans. She loves castles and turrets with a passion. The occasional modern is thrown in for fun, but it's not her natural taste.
Spartan has a pet budgerigar named Paris who thinks he is a pretty boy, talks constantly, dances, swears and occasionally takes a shower with her. He hogs the hot water though.
