I'm probably older then most of the users here, female, happily married for over 10 years and have a little daughter. I live in the German speaking part of Switzerland. I do have a degree in Computers but I have no connection with EA whatsoever. I work part time but not as much atm. Mostly maintenance, which I find kind of boring.
What's my sims story ?
I've been playing computer games since I was 12. Mostly adventures back then until SimCity came out. I've been playing TheSims since it came out, mostly building with Sims 1. Did not play Sims 2 too much cause my computer sucked but I was getting into the community pretty fast. I've been helping out since then but with a huge pause in between when I was working full time. I started again when Sims 3 came out.
How do I play my game
Very rarely actually. I do use lots of mods (mostly twallans), so things happening in my game are not really representative
So where am I getting all this info
By reading actually. I read through tons of forum threads and by now I know what to look out for, if someone has a problem. Sometimes I go ask people that have a far better understanding then me and get on their nerves.
So how accurate is the info I give ?
I don't know actually. I have no direct info from EA themselves. I try to tell people the way I understand it and yes, sometimes the info I give might not be correct. I have a german blog that had over 100'000 visitors in the last year, so I think, most of the info must be ok. I really rely on all of you gamers and this is how I do this all.
