I've been an avid Sims fan since 2001, I was late getting on the fan-wagon as I thought playing God was silly. Boy was I wrong, about Sims being a "Playing God" type game, per say. I've been gaming since I was 8 when my dad first got me a Nintendo system. I like RPGs (Baulder's Gate, Dragon Age, etc..((bioWare fan too!)), Simulations (The Sims, SimCity 2000 was my first SimCity game.), and time management/tycoon games (Diner Dash, Farm Frenzy) when I don't want to think/plan too hard or spend hours dungeon crawling. I'm currently addicted to Skyrim and HOPE LIKE MAD Dragon Age 3 din't go next gen, I want to play it on my current console...Can't afford a new one right now...It's only a year old, darn it!
Favorite Skills in the Sims 3:
Science, is awesome and makes your sim great at a lot of the outdoors skills in one.
Gardening, because I am no gardener IRL, no time and I forget to water things...a lot.
Painting, I love looking at the little virtual paintings, inexpensive way to decorate a sim's home and make money at the same time.
Fishing, just because it is practical, food and finances.
Alchemy, because I can! Although a little more tie-in with other EPs would be nice, like all the herbs from S3 UL being used as new potions in Alchemy would be nice.
Complaint Alert: I am annoyed however with how ridiculously easy it is to make money and get fairly rich in the Sims 3, there's no challenge to making money or getting rich with minimal effort, and not enough to spend a sim's money on.
And consistent tags on content would be nice, I hate being used to finding one thing in one place and I totally miss new ones of this type of item because they are somewhere asinine. I digress....
I love Supernatural, World Adventures, University Life EPs. I adore Monte Vista, the only store world I own and I was disappointed when Aurora Skies' PC Kiddy content was tied to a world I have no interest in buying, hope it gets an individual release soon.
